Cauliflower with Schoarfer butter

Vegetables in front of the curtain please - in this spicy recipe we can present you a wonderful cauliflower. This harmonizes perfectly with our Schoarfen seasoning. A heavenly refreshing main course.


  • 1 cauliflower
  • 2 onion
  • 6 mild chili peppers or snack peppers
  • lemon

For the hot butter:

  • 60g butter (melted)
  • 100ml olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Schoarfe seasoning
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp sugar or honey


Quarter the cauliflower and blanch in plenty of boiling, salted water for 3 minutes. Then drain well. Preheat the oven to 175°. Mix all the ingredients for the butter and then brush the cauliflower thoroughly with it. Divide the onion into 1/8 and place on a baking tray along with the cauliflower and the snack peppers and cook in the oven for 35 minutes. In between, brush the vegetables twice with the stock. Serve hot with a lemon wedge.

If you can't agree on the spiciness, you have the opportunity to add some more Schoarfen seasoning at the table.

We recommend a simple salad and some bread as a side dish.
