AMA Genussregion Manufaktur

The AMA Genussregion is the further development of the long-known culinary regions. In the newly organized gourmet regions, the Culinary Network, in cooperation with Agrar Markt Austria, has set a new milestone in communicating the quality of regional food. The gourmet regions distinguish between three types of participants, manufactories such as Genusskoarl, gastronomy and farm direct marketing.

The AMA Gourmet Regions guarantee customers that the food they consume comes from Austrian agriculture. For products where this is not the case, this must be explicitly stated. This is checked by independent certification bodies such as Austria organic guarantee or the BIOS – Biocontrol Service Austria and their experienced auditors. It will be checked after QHS standard which stands for quality, origin and safety. As befits good quality standards, all requirements can be found on the website Culinary Network can be read in detail.

The declared goal of the Austrian gourmet region is to make the high quality of Austrian food known far beyond the borders. The aim is also to gain the trust of domestic and foreign customers through a uniform seal of quality.

Obtaining the certification was easy given the high quality standards that Genusskoarl sets for itself. Through certification according to the ORGANIC AUSTRIA standard and the IFS Global Markets Food Quality Management System All criteria were exceeded from the outset.

A seal of quality that enables customers to clearly recognize the regional origin of the food is a real enrichment for everyone.
